Octane Boost-Bad for Car?

Quick question, I am going to the strip this week to baseline my car. As with alot of '95s, the computer take too much timing out during accelaeration resulting in detonation at WOT. I run 93 octane gas, but it still does it, would 104+ or similar product take car of the problem at the track? If so, will it be safe for the sensors and such on the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would just bring a "1/2" shallow socket wrench" an retard the timing a much as needed. Remember to remove the chip before adujusting the timing

As long as the octane booster is safe for the injectors and sensors, you should be okay. Anything 1that uses tetraeythel (sp?) lead is no good for a modern fuel injected application since the lead tends to leave deposits that foul the injectors and oxygen sensors.
