H-Pipe or X-Pipe for '92 5.0?
 

Which is better all around (gas mileage improvement, power, torque, etc.) and which would anyone suggest buying over the other. No cats by the way.

I like the sound of the H-pipe better, maybe because I'm used to it, but I run a Bassani off road X now, little more power in top end, little different sound. Which ever you decide to go with, remember you get what you pay for. Bassani is very high quality stuff! Good luck.

h-pipe = more of that muscle car sound, cheaper

x-pipe= a little less noisy but a unique sound, more expensive, makes a littler more power (vs. H-pipe)but you won't feel the difference but i guess every little bit adds up!

either one will give u a lil better MPG and power since you will be loosing the cats, i got an offroad x-pipe w/ magnaflow cat back, which replaced my stock exhaust, love it!
