squealing?
 
Ok guys i got one for ya. I am getting a squealing sound that sounds like its coming from the rear of the car when i backup i can hear it when i an driveing slow. but more in reverse. i havent checked anything yet. now i dont hear it when i apply the brakes. and dosent do it when i car is sitting and running. just in motion. any ideas?

Well, if its a "friction" type sound, I'd check the shoes first, maybe they need adjustment. Any other signs/quirks? Does it pick up wth speed?

Sounds like a build up of dust on the shoes...

Take off the drums, hit both the drums and the shoes with some 120 - 180 grit sandpaper, and be sure to clean them up with some brake cleaner when you are finished..
