Window Switch

Wow I havent been here for a while! The place looks different.

I was wondering if anyone else have had problems with their window switches on a 98 Mustang. The drivers side window is stuck down right now, it wont go back up. :( This happened once before about a month ago, it just all of a sudden stuck down then a bit later I tried it again and it went back up and was fine. But then tonite it happened again and it just wont go back up. I'm thinking its the switch itself. It's like it doesnt even make the 'clicking' noise when I press it. The other switches on my panel (passenger window and door locks) work fine, its just the drivers side. Should I just go buy a new switch?

Sicy it sounds like you have a short circuit in your window switch. I don't know if you do your own work on your nice looking stang, but if you do, you can remove the switch panel and look to see if there is any burned or discolored wiring. Plus, do you look like your name sign girl?

Thanks for the reply. My brother actually took it apart last weekend and it seemed some 'two things' werent connecting properly (dont ask me I have no idea LOL) so he moved the little connections with pliers and now it works great :D

I look like....... what I look like on my website :p
