Is there a thick vavlve cover gasket avail for my 5.0?

I have a 95GT and there are no aftermarket valve covers for them. When I installed my heads, cam, and rockers, the rockers hit so I took a hammer to them and beat them out where they were hitting. I then "double corked" them. Unfortunately after two weeks they are leaking like crazy. Is there a thick gasket I could use? Thanks.

I'd only use one set, you will find nothing but oil leaks in the near future, as yopu already found. Motorsport makes rubber beaded metal ones for about $40 per set. Those are awesome.

Like you said, your problem is from your rockers hitting your valve covers. I had the same problem. What you are going to have to do is remove the oil shield under the spout, and grind out the metal wall in there on BOTH sides.

You will also have to grind out some of the pillars(not the whole thing) inside the valve cover too. That will make it work. I promise. YOu may also want to thouroughly check your heads arount the springs and valves for any metal shavings that the rockers may have grinded out and remove them. They will ruin your piston walls in no time.

You need new Vale Covers!

I found some thick felpro's today. My rockers don't hit the oil baffle, and I have already beat the crap out of them with a hammer and then ground them down with a dremel, I don't think they hit now, but I'm not taking chances.

They do not make a valve cover specifically for the 94-95 stangs. The oil fill next is at a different angle on ours and hits the inlet tube if you use ones off a fox body.

Trick Flow makes valve covers that easily clear rockers and you can place the oil fill hole anywhere you want since you have to drill it yourself.

Stock 87-93 covers worked fine on my 94.
