Need a new brake backing plate
 

i have a 1966 mustang 6 chassis it needs a new backing plate for the rear drum brakes i don't know of anywhere that sells this part. the cars wheel popped off and flattened the bottom of the backing plate :(

You have to check one of the sites that deals in "used" parts to get it.
Where are you located??

im in berkeley ca. I think that is my best bet to try to get a used one in good condition. otherwise the best idea ive gotten is to replace the whole driveaxle which is a pain. :D

There is a mustang junk yard in fontana, CA. They will get you the part of one of their cars and mail it to you. I don't use them very often because they are expensive.
