Used car buy, opinions?
There is a used car listing that I am considering for a 1989 Mustang GT. It has some mods already on it:
BBK headers, 3:73 gear BBK cold air intake, bullies, flowmaster, centerlines I'm asking opinions about the BBK stuff because I haven't heard anything about those on this site. BTW the car has 134,000 kilometeres on her (about 83,263 miles) |
sounds good, how much is he asking? look it up on www.kbb.com. Those mods are pretty basic stuff.

I looked up the car in the kelly book, with that milage, and it came to $6,334 Canadian (converted) and that's more than what he's asking.
I used a Canadian auto search engine to find the cars that I am considering, and all of them have similar prices with convertibles being a couple thousand dollars more. Some have mods already installed in similar setups like above. So I'd consider the modded 'stangs over the unmodded myself, unless the milage was incredibly good. What do you think? Before you go buying a used stang (any car for that matter), I'd have someone run the VIN - make sure it was totalled in an accident. Better to be safe than sorry when you're forking over $7K.
