65 mustang help
 

i am working on puting a new 302 in my 65 mustang, and am having trouble with it, i have a 670cfm 2bbl holley projection that i have wired according to the manual, it dosent seem to want to stay running, my timing it dead on, its a new engine, i have a big cam in it, but am adjusting the idle to compinsate for it. any input would be great, and, i took the projection off, stuck on my old 2bbl carb, manual fuel pump to see if it would make a differance, it will idle fine. but whenever i go to put it in gear, it stalls out. i am useing my stock stall converter on the new engine, would that make a differance. i am sort of stumbeling in the darck not knowing much about all this stuff, any help or input would be amazing. kyle kyleenglish@comcast.net

Kyle.. I'm not 100% sure what the problem could be, but.. if you adjust the idle to a fast idle and let the car run for a little bit, then shift it in, will it still do it?
