Buyer Beware - POR-15

Just a little heads up on POR-15, save your money. I have recently had to remove all of the suspension and strip it and the entire floorpan of por-15. It was a 70 dodge challenger convertible and this required several steps back in the resto-mod process and cost the customer a weeks worth of work. This product tends to flake of in sheets. It sticks fair to the very rusted parts but is failing to bond to the lighter rust spots and the clean metal. You are better of getting down to good metal and painting normally!

Our experience is just the opposite. When properly cleaned, degreased, and prepped, the POR-15 will NOT come off.

Never saw a problem with POR-15. Always found it "Impossible" to get off. I think your parts weren't preped properly.

Ever try and get it off your hands???
