What is a good plug #
 
I am new to this site, but it appears that there are alot of knowledgeable people here....I have a 5.0 with the GT-40 Heads , Headers, The Ford "F" cam, 70mm throtle body, What is a good plug ( make and part # ) to use for the street ?

are there any platinum or irridium plugs that are known to make an improvement that you know of ?

Use the plain plugs. The only thing that will help a plugs performance is a larger or multiple path to fire on, IE split fires. Or a larger ignition box.

The different material plugs are made to last and not for performance.

If your ever at a drag race ask the big boys what their running. Most likely the plain ole' Autolites or equivlent.
