90/10's on the street

I know in all the catalogs they say 90/10 struts are not for street use. I was wondering are they ok for the street and if anyone has them on their street car?
Thanks
Brian

sucks - get adjustable struts and you can have it both ways.

I've had 70/30s on the street and switched to 90/10s, a little rougher but no complaints here.

Well I installed my 90/10's and I don't really have any complaints either.

To all of you that have the 90/10s & drive on the street...what kind of springs do you have? Drag springs? With drag shocks & springs I'd imagine that going around turns at even a moderate speed would be unstable, no? What about going over bumps or through intersections with dips? I can't imagine a full drag suspension set up would feel good on the street. Do tell...

I had Strange 10 way adjustable on my 92 and they were great. I could change the settings in 5 minutes without a jack or tools. The best part is I could get killer weight transfer to play around with then switch back to a more street friendly setting. Felt like the front end would float on overpasses when on a drag setting. Hope this helps

How much were the Strange 10 way adjustables? Did you just have them in the front, or the rear too? I was thinkin adjustable is the best way to go for a street/strip car. Adjustables seem pretty pricey though. I guess you get what you pay for...

What about the rest of you guys that replied to this post? What spring set up are you running with your 90/10s?

I got mine from Jegs, and they were right inline price wise with other shocks and struts. I replaced the shocks and struts at the same time and they made a huge difference.

i have eibach drag launch springs on mine, I am unsure about them currently because of the dam wheel hop.

Do you not have the quad shocks on there?

No i do not have the quad shocks on. I called eibach and they said the quad shocks shouldn't make a difference. They blamed in on my tires pretty much
