Codes 14 and 19 koeo?
I have an 1988 5.0 at with maf and I keep getting a code 19 and 14 in the koeo. I replace the ign module rotor plugs, and wires and it help the hesitation problem but still get the check engine light and a rough idle. The car is all stock but bbk equal length headers and a bbk highflow h-pipe with cats and a fenderwell air intake. I don't know what to do I can't find any test procedurs to go through to help me. Also the brake booster leaks on the backside into the car and makes a hissing noise, but it does effect the way in runs i think because I sprayed carb cleaner on it and the rpms did not change and the brakes work fine.

Although Pkrwud hasn't been on this board in awhile, you can look him up on the ricehatersclub site. I am not big on fuelie motors. There are plenty of people on this board who know the answer to your question, they just haven't chimed in yet.

Yeah, I know but that's the first guy that comes to mind when a subject like this comes up......at least to me, he does.

14 (c): Intermittent PIP signal operation. Suspect PIP sensor or TFI module, or grounding or interference problems at the TFI module
19 (o): Failure of PCM voltage regulator. Replace PCM You didn't mention any problems in your post besides a hesitation problem, is this what we are troubleshooting? |

The car just runs rough at idle and the check engine light comes on

on the code 19 is the ecm that I have to replace, theres no way to test anything for this code?

try swapping out the voltage regulator and double check for vacuum leaks.
