Driver's seat became unattached from floorboard!
Was driving over a bumpy road the other day, and my driver's seat became loose. got home, and looked; and the bolt was tight, however taking up the carpet showed it had broken away from the floor board. Is there a "patch" that Ford has for this that I can get to weld back to secure the seat again? thanks.

U could probably have someone weld in a plate to bolt to. Be sure to remove carpet in those spots before the welding starts....

That's another good reason to have subframe connectors that have the cross brace for extra support for the seats.

my 92 gt did the same thing. I put in a new floor pan and added subframe connecters. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Re: Driver's seat became unattached from floorboard!
I put on BBK sub frame connectors which had a bracket for the seats to bolt to. Outstanding. Helped with the flexing of the body overall. Hole shots even feel stronger. Not bad for $129. BBK's worked well.

I had mine pull out on a hard launch. I soaked the carpet with water and then mig welded the stud back in there. Easy money.
