Timing question
I know this is a basic question but I just wanted to be sure. When setting the timing you should 1) Let car warm up 2) remove "pill" 3) hook up to plug #1 and then set timing and re install pill. I heard for a little more performance you can bump your timing up a little above TDC. Am I on the right track??

Re: Timing question
Base timing on an EEC-IV is 10-degrees BEFORE top dead center. The computer will command a total of 26 to 27 at WOT so by bumping your timing to 14 to 16-degrees BEFORE top dead center will push your total timing to 30 to 33-degrees at WOT. Generally speaking a SBF 302 with flat top pistons likes 32 to 34-degrees of total timing for peak HP performance.
