what do you thinkof this combo
 

I have a 90 ,5.0 that is rebuilt ,new rings and bearings,e7te heads,ported and planed,e303 cam,and springs to match that i just got from summitt,grate people,4cyl 5 speed tranny and 3.73,s in the back.oh yeah msd ignition,long tubes and dynomax 2 1/2" exhaust.next im going to add a victor intake,and a 650cfm holley.
Any guesses on my 1/4 mile time before my tranny explodes,lol.

i had a stock thunderbird 5.0 with a 4 cylinder trans in it and it blew on like three burnouts. i dont know that youres will even make one pass lol. good luck though.

You can't powershift them even when they are behind the 4cylinder. Good luck with it. What intake and carburetor are you running now? Do the heads still have the stock valves in them? I am assuming you'll be running on street tires.

yeah,running on street tires,the tranny sucks that bad eh?I,m not expecting a whole lot ,but hopping to be in the 13's,Im running a 650 holley double and a victor intake.and yeah stock valves.

You might get a high 13 if you can cut a good light and get decent traction. It is possible, my brother cut a 1.78 60ft on street radials at bowling green. I can't get close that. My best is a 2.0. Stock suspension?
