Re: i need heads
Yep, they are E7's. I think that shipping them will be $$$ because of the weight. I'm in Orlando, FL.

Re: i need heads
I have a set of 351W heads that I ran for several years on my 306 engine. The only reason that they were removed was because I wanted TFTW aluminum heads.
The 351W heads were used for about 20,000-25,000 miles over a 4 year period. These heads are professionally pocket ported and gasket matched with a 3 angle valve job. The valves measure 1.85 intake/ 1.55 exhaust. The heads were angle milled to produce a 59.5 cc chamber. With flat top pistons that should make 9.5/1 CR on the 302. These heads also include Comp Cams 1.6 ratio roller tip Magnum rocker arms ($139 value new). About a year ago, I thought I had the heads sold. At that time, I took them back to the shop that built them originally. They were disassembled, cleaned, and inspected at that time. No problems were found. They did do a touch up vave job just because they had them apart. I would sell these heads for $400 + shipping. Pm me for further questions if interested. BTW. I think my 306 made approximately 300 HP with these heads. Rev |
Re: i need heads
Just my $.02, that's a KILLER deal. You'd have twice that in building them. ;)

Re: i need heads
Yeah, but there're stock sized valves. I would look for something with at least 1.94/1.60 valves.
Sorry REV, I'm not trying to screw you out of a sale....just stating my opinion. I would either buy those Windsor Jr. heads I showed the link for or save your money for a nice aftermarket set of heads. That's what happened to me....I was all excited two years ago to get my engine built, I didn't have about $1500 for aluminum heads so I spent $700 on my stock 351 heads getting them ported, polished and 1.94/1.60 valves installed. If I would have been patient and saved another $700, I could of had the aluminum heads. Now, I'm at the crossroads where I need better flowing heads and the saving process starts all over again for heads.....that I should of had two years ago. Take some good advise by saving and buying the aftermarket heads NOW instead of wishing you would have done it a long time ago. |
