MAF ???
How do you know when the mass air flow sensor isn't working properly? Is their a way to test it.

do you haver access to a code scanner? Usually they'll throw a code when they aren't working right... Good luck!

You can backprobe the MAF harness and check the voltage. First, you could check battery volatage and then signal voltage. It should be .2 - 1.5V at idle. As you increase the engine RPM the MAF signal should increase to 2.0V or slightly above. If that doesn't work, use an ohmmeter on the harness and see if there is a broken connection. If that doesn't work, your MAF is fried.
