88LX rolled fender lips, no quads, will 275/50R15's fit with a 7" wheel?

I dont think that will work with a 7 in.

No way. The 275's are 10.8" wide. To put the 275's on, on the safe side you should have a 9" rim.

The aspect ratio would have to be like a drag slick.

I had a 7in with 265/50R15 they worked on mine but the guy who put them on said thax was the MAX! I could put on it.

Will they fit? Yes they will. Is that a good idea? No it's not. I've seen 275/50/15s on a 7" wheel and it does not look good nor is it efficient. 275s are rated for an 8.5" rim or wider. 9s in IMO would be best.

I'd say wait, get some 15x9s, and do it right...really.

i've got 10.5" slicks on my 10holes and they do bow out pretty good so i guess 275mm which is wider than my slicks wouldnt be a great idea, i didnt even think of that, what a dumbass, ok, now a new question, i DO want to get nitto drag radials but the next size down from the 275's on a 15" wheel is a 205/60 i think, and i dont want to go that skinny, i haven't extensively searched but is there another tire inbetween? like maybe a 245 or 255? thanks

scratch that, i measured them today and they are a 7.5 inch wheel, i went to nitto's site and the smallest wheel they recommend for the 275/50s is a 7.5", anyone here have this?

They wont handle very well But they will stick down.

What will happen if you put those tires on your car is that it will mushroom out because of the excessive amount the bead of the tire has to be pulled in to fit inside the rim. To get a proper contact patch you will have to lower the psi a bit which will cause it to handle poorly. If you want to put something on that'll stick, buy some sticky tires even like Z rated high performance tires would be better than the 275's because of lower treadwear rating (more rubber lost to the road = lower treadwear rating). Usually in tires they all start with around 10/32" so that's not much of an issue with treadwear ratings. Getting drag radials is a good idea for launching on the street because the tread has more patch to contact the road and is stickier as well. Good luck.

I used to run MT 28x10.5 sportsman pros on my Gt and they fit o.k. Pain in the rear for an everyday driver. Constant flats and it would rub going over bumps. Great traction though. I currently run 255-15's on an 8 inch convo pro wheel.

With a over sized tire for the rim, When you go around a corner the tire wall will move in and the tire will go FLAT.
