1967 mustang engine swap

Can I put a 429 in my 67 mustang coupe? My son has a 78 bronco with a 429 and I am thinking of rebuilding his engine and putting it in my mustang. He will put a 351 in his bronco. Thanks

You can put any engine in any car/tk. Just depends all how much work you want to do.

I've seen a 429 in a 68 Mustang. Same engine bay as a 67, the inner fenders were cut back and reinforcement plates had been welded in for support after the clearancing.

lotta work gettin it fabbed in the car, not to mention the suspension upgrade youll have to make to hold up the extra weight of the 429.. your call but it can be done ...

They did put 428 FE's in the '68. Might be easier to just go with a 428 without all that shock tower work. That's what I would do anyways.
