Exchange ideas & (pics) with anyone doing a 66 resto

Hi
I am undertaking what I believe will be a 2 year full resto of my 66 coupe. It will be pretty stock but am changing to some Pony/GT options (grille, exhaust). It has a 289 2v C4 with PS originally emberglo with std balck interior now vintage burgundy. Still not sure what color to paint it back to yet. So I feel a bit lost sometimes when I dont have another car ready to look at. I would like to communicate with anyone undertaking a similar project just to bounce ideas off. Issues like fitting A/C and powers steering concerns me. The motor while strong but is going to be redone with new modern accessories but still a good cruise car not a nitro burner. I have begun stripping all and sundry and careful to stack and label well. I will be sandlblasting interior, trunk and engine bay and bare metal strip bonnet myself. This car requires no body work as there is zero rust. Hope someone is in this boat too and like to email.

I am doing a rebuild on my 66 too.
this is what i plan doing to give you some ideas:

efi 302 400hp, 4 wheel abs, super charged, maybe nos, eleanor package for coupe-courtesy (mustang depot.com), bright yellow w/gray stripes faded into yellow, AOD street/strip, 6-point roll cage, louvers for rear window painted to match, 5 leaf mideye 200 race suspension kit, traction bars, full sub frame kit, a/c,p/s,4 wheel disc, ford 9" w/4.56 detriot lockers, 17x7f ,17x8r torque thrust II chrome.

Try taking a look at mustang depot.com for some idea's, it gave me some.

I'm estimating 5-10 yrs project for me.

maybe quicker for you
