how would you guys go about putting in hood scoops. fiberglass? rivets? im open to suggestions

Mine was the bolt on kind. I did it when I repainted the car, then it was bonded to the hood. Still looks perfect 7 years later, but I have heard of the joint cracking over time. I can provide some pictures if u need them.

You could use rivets, they just did that in a car craft article. Another thing would be automotive adhesive, (or its called bonding agent or something) which is crazy strong, the stuff alot of body shops use to replace quarter panels. My uncle (autobody guy) said its stronger then welding. Good luck. have you seen that VW commercial?
