Has anyone had a problem with Centerforce pressure plates

I've got a centerforce pressure plate and have recently developed a high speed vibration. I've heard of people having the weights on the pressure plate cause imbalance. My machine shop guy who balanced the entire engine said he couldn't do much with the pressure plate because of the weights. I'm still tracking the cause by driving it under different situations before I start tearing it down for inspection. But if anyone has had similar problem with clutch it might help me find it quicker.
Thanks for any help
John

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Centerforce pressure plates

I've never had problems with my center force. I did get a balance problem when I changed gears in the rear end. I've heard if the drive shaft is taken off and put back on clocked different you'll get vibration. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but my solution was an aluminum drive shaft.
