93 cobra wheels
 

i am interested in getting a set of 93 cobra wheels for my car and have heard there are aftermarket companies that manufacture them i have looked on ebay but they usually go for more then i want to spend and i am just wondering if anyone out there knows of any company reproducing these wheels at a good price thanks for your time

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, there aren't any companies making aftermarket '93 Cobra rims. I was talking to someone at Diversified Products who told me that they were in negotiations with Ford to get the licensing (or whatever - legal crap) to produce the wheel. Last time I spoke to D.P. they told me it didn't look good. Next generation does have them in the catalog, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have them in stock. D.P. was advertising the rims for $200 a piece, but they only had one right rim left. Your best bet at this point may be E-bay. I bought a mint set off E-bay for $900. Luckily, it was a fairly local sale and I was able to pick them up. Good luck.

My friend bought them, and RECEIVED all four of them from next generation. Once again $289 a piece.

You can order a Next Generation catalog by calling 1-800-921-9214 or by visiting their website at www.nextgenparts.com/mustang/. BUT out of curiosity, since I had contacted them a few months ago about the rims, I called them and they told me the rims were DISCONTINUED and they were OUT OF STOCK. When did your friend get the rims from them 1BAD89?? Again, your best be is Ebay. There are a few sets on there right now.
