Re: pcv seperator
Under the PCV valve is a wire screen. If it cloggs, oil will get sucked into the inake through the PCV valve like a straw. Remove and clean, or buy a new one.
Not sure what a "wet" motor is. If your motor has alot of blow by, its going to suck/burn oil, no matter what you do. |
Re: pcv seperator
I made my own:
http://groups.msn.com/1998redmustang...to&PhotoID=348 http://groups.msn.com/1998redmustang...to&PhotoID=344 Air /water separator $11.00+ two 1/4 NPT 90 degree 3/8" opening brass fittings $5.00. Or one 90 degree and one straight fitting depending on how your PCV is set up. Just splice in between PCV and intake...works great with the Eaton, I've seen this used with N/A applications also. |
Re: pcv seperator
rite on thanx ppls im gonna try one and see how it does.... ive never heard of a wet motor either.... farely fresh motor i would say around 15,000 miles or so. i thought replacing factory heads with sum edelbrocks would save the old valvetrain n wut not but still consuming... they are 30 over Ross pistons and i believe file to fit rings any ideas motor is completely rebuilt.... EFI car

Re: pcv seperator
I'm sure you would have figured but...when the bowl is half full, empty it. You shouldn't have to empty it much with N/A applications. Good luck...
