Re: My Mom's Ride

Thanks guys! Dad did ALOT of work, pretty much a "frame" off resto mod there. Car looks good, drives good, and is dependable as hell. Not gonna set the drag strip on fire, but hey we ARE talking about my Mom here.

Just noticed, background of first pic, you can see my 35 MPG Escort GT daily driver!!! Damn, I love that car! Drove from Youngstown to Cincinnati and back, burned 15 gallons of fuel. Gotta love it!

For those of you that don't know me, I'm darn near 40 years old, and this is what my Mom drives. Dad has a '49 Shibby truck, and the first ever Firebird HO convertible. Fireturd just re-set on the ground after being in a rotisserie all winter. Car is bad azz, even though it's from "The General".

Just wanted to let you all know that I come by this stuff honestly, it's in my blood. Thank god for my mom, or I'd be driving something with a 406 Shibby in it!!!! LMAO

On a side note, that air cleaner has seen 117 MPH in the quarter. She loaned it to me! ;)

I love the ole sheet metal....and her dang under hood is cleaner then mine

I hope she has an e-brake in there. I was tool lazy to replace mine, so I shucked the death cylinder for a dual system.
