Edlebrock manifold water ports

Just received my performer rpm manifold and noticed this has no rear cross over water port runners, is this going to cause a problem for a daily driver? And why did they leave out the rear cross over ports? won't this cause the car to run hotter?

It will be fine, the early 289 and 302's dont use a rear crossover.

As Dark Knight said, "It's normal". Most manifolds don't have the rear cross over.

I’m sure you guys are right, but then why do the heads have the rear ports or runners for water flow?

Re: Edlebrock manifold water ports

So they can go on either side of the engine :D
Otherwise you'd need left and right specific heads...
The crossover is used in later engines for more temp oriented switches..
