93 LX w/2.3 Want To Lower front only

I have a 1993 LX with a 2.3. I have 195/60/15's on the front. This small of a tire leaves a large gap of air, and almost looks silly. I want to lower the front only about 4", or whatever it will take to close the gap between the tire top and the wheel cut-out on the fender. An old freinds' brother once heated the coil springs on a 74 Chevy truck and it worked. Would this weaken the springs any? Are thier kits? On the back, I have 215/70/15's, which fills up the wheel well nicely and completely. I could probably almost squeeze 225/70's in there. I have thought about going to a 16" rim also. I want the big tire in back, little tire in front look, with car low to the ground. This is an extremely punishing, menacing look on a vehicle.

DO NOT use a torch to cut the coils as it will remove the temper from the springs. The cheapest and easiest way to lower the car would be to remove the springs and cut off a coil or two with a small pnuematic cut off saw. There is no where near the heat involved which will protect the springs.
