86 GT won't stay running
 

I have a 86 gt with stock motor. It will start fine and high idle, but when it idles down, it will die. I've checked the IAC, TPS, plugs wires, cap, rotor. Fuel pressure with key on, engine off jumps to 20, but then fades to 0. With key on, engine on it holds at 33, then just before it dies, it jumps to 40. Am I even chasing the right rabbit?

Thanks for your reply, Dark Knight. I replaced the fuel filter, but it made no difference.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply. There is no stored codes, no check engine light. It is very consistant when it dies from idle, right after it is supposed to idle down.
