MSD Digital 6 question
 

I have a brand new 2yr old MSD digital 6plus pn#6520 with the adapter kit for an "easy" install. Anyone have this box and/or kit and use it and tell me how it works. When I picked it up at my bros I noticed he had a 12" woofer on the box, do you think the magnet damaged it?

I doubt the magnet hurt the box, it's digital. No magnetic strips or anything inside to hurt really.

Have the instructions? If not, msd's website has them for download. Install is pretty straight forward, and that's an awesome box.

You shouldn't have any problems with the install. And if for some reason the box IS damaged from the magnet, call MSD, they'll give you a referance #, fix your box (usually around $75), and RENEW the warranty! Really great people to deal with. I've had a few boxes fixed over the years.

i got the msd 6520 in my '87....no problems yet. it was in the car when i got it 3 months ago. guy who had it before welded up a little box, w/ rubber shock absorbers over the mounting bolts. mounted it right below the hole in the fender well for the CAI. looks good, seems to work.

Im trying to sell it so I can geta 6AL, I just want to plug and go and cant afford the extra time on the dyno to tune my car with this box.
