torque converter to flex plate alignment

Hi, I was wondering if it is critical to reassemble the torque converter in the same position relative to the flex plate as it was originally, before disassembly. I failed to mark their positions, so am I screwed? Thanks.

No not really. The flex plate is balanced and the torque converter is balanced. Just line it up and bolt it up.

If the converter has a drain plug[s], make sure you line them up with the holes in the flexplate.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I have alot of work ahead of me and I don't want to be messing up this early in the game.
