would anyone spray a hyper piston w/ nos? i know i have before in the past but its been 6 years and i cant remember if it was my stock pistons ( forged and i know no problems) or my hypers that i rebuilt w/.

Re: nos
Sure. Done conservatively they'll hold up. I generally don't recommend anything more than 150hp shot on stock hyper pistons, but I've know people to spray 250+ at them.

Re: nos
thats pretty cool. if anything i wouldnt spray more than 150 but plan on 100 shot if anything.

Re: nos
The problem with the hypereutectic pistons is that the first sign of misfire, they tend to make it known that they don't like it. (ie Hole in piston, block, oil pan...etc.) I fyou run good fuel, conservative timing, and run colder plugs, you should be good.
150-175 on a stock motor is about as high as I would go though. Have fun and spray the F*** out of it. |
