Need help W/Swap

hi, new member here, I have a 95 Mustang gt w/stock 5.0L with 80,000 miles.(K&N FIPK, and underdrive pullies only mods done)
now I am a car dealer(used) and bought a 2001 F-150 Lightning w/the 5.4L supercharged, with 32,000 miles, the truck is total junk (R title) (meaning total loss or reconstructed title) now I want to put this motor in my mustang .
it is a 5 speed like i said with the 5.0 now.. can this be done easily?
I bought this car new in 95 and never wrecked it, I just want more power and I got this great 5.4 just sitting there.

what will i need? the ecu is set up for the truck with automatic, can i just chip the ecu in the mustang? any help guys?

Thanks guys so much
And no i wont sell the motor. LOL :D

Depends on what you think easy is. You'll need a k-member from a '96 and up stang, a different bellhousing/flywheel and a really big hood (6" cowl) which it still won't fit underneath so you'll need to cut a hole in it. With the complete donor harness, wiring shouldn't be too bad. I'm sure there's other little things you'll run across, but it is quite possible and people have done it before.

You'll need the ECU also, now that I'm on that topic PATS is one thing you're going to have to figure out. I know you can have a dealer disable it so you can start the car or you could swap in the parts you need to make it work. Also the lightning used a returnless fuel system so you'll need different fuel rails so you can use your return style fuel system. Plan on getting that thing on a dyno and having a tuner work his magic. Also going to need some work done to your h/x-pipe. The good thing is you have the truck so things like powersteering/ AC should be easy for ya. The best thing I can say is read as much as you can about this project before you ever start. Here's a link to one of the modular swap forums.
