Cams?
 
im freshining up a 302 and i want to put a ford racing E cam in the motor. A friend of mine has one that was out of his motor that has about 25 dyno runs on it. would it be worth buying a used cam or just buying the new one?

There's nothing wrong with buying used parts. If you can get a deal on it and the cam's in good shape go for it.

Get the cam, also, it would be a good time to replace the timing chain when doing the swap, those things stretch ever so slightly over time. Good luck.
