I am building a motor for my neighbor, I have always thrown together my own or picked one out the junk yard, BUT this one I have worked hard and saved for three years and PAID dearly for. But I do think that I have something now. It will be a little while before it goes in I still need to order headers and a clutch. ( Another 12 -13 hundred) Any way I am more excited than the turbo project and thank all of you for the complements.

Oh wow... that looks nice man! I am really excited for you. Sounds like it has been a long time coming. Congrats! Please upload those pics to your Media Center gallery. They'll get shown on the homepage of MW automatically when you do, as well.

I am in the same boat, I have to get a whole new clutch set-up at the moment. I'm planning to do that (hopefully) this spring. I'm going from the old 11" sintered iron unit to a 10.5" dual disc set-up.

Very nice dude, you got a lot out of your old motor but "she ain't speed density anymore!!"

What kind of block is under there? not a stock 2 bolt I'm sure!!Which Heads?,Cam?
What range of power are you looking to make?

Thanks all you guys, I think that piece on top of my motor is that new speed density set-up:D
Here are the specs TFS high ports, $2500.00 worth of porting, 2.10 intakes, ?.?? exhast, Solid roller cam .714 intake, .728 exhast, 26? duration, ported super vicktor, Pro systems carb 780, 342 10.5 compression. 1 3/4 kooks long tubes, spec stage 3+ clutch, and a 2640lbs snot rocket, with a lunatic driver

How high are you gonna rev cause with that cam the motor wont come alive below 4000rpm. Thats an assload of duration:eek: the power band will be way up there.

Darren (side by side racing) said 6800 - 7500? Also, he said it is 1.60 valves and 1.125 on the intakes. I will get a dyno sheet and post it.
And to day I found some time slips from the holly- mass air combo, I had actually ran 11.91 @ 115 imagine that!

nice looking motor....just finished mine myself...hope my 2.02 valves do not hit my pistons the first passh though! lol. o where did you get the valve covers??

87 stang close in on the pics and get the web site. Darren will tell or sell you some.
The motor is in the car, I am waiting on headers. 3-20 or one day soon. the air filter is against the hood. I am so ready just to hear it run. I keep yall posted.
