Re: removal of sway bar??

Mine has been under the house for 3 years.
Not only does it weigh a lot it also allows the front end to react quicker on launch, my car won't pull the tires mind you but the front raises higher and quicker when I launch (sway bar hooks frame to front suspension, right?) So the body can raise much higher (more travel room w/o bar) and help plant the rears, A Fox body won't take a curve with or without it,(I saw it done and read about it in several mags and on this site I belive) I can't tell it's gone when driving daily and I know better than to take a curve at speed so...

Mine came off in 1992, I have logged a 130,000 miles with out it. If you don't carve corners, GET RID OF IT.
