resetting computer?

I know I've seen it mentioned on here recently, but I cant find how to do it. I want to rest the computer in my car. I think it has something to do with disconnecting neg batt cable, then restart with all accessories on, then shut off & wait & then restart & it's done? I did a tune-up today: trashed the bosch platimums for ngk tr55's, replaced the fuel filter for the first time, and have the batt cable already off while doing above, want to reset computer tonight too while I'm at it. also got my 3.55's FINALLY installed on Thurs. WOW! It really pulls now! Be at the track in 2-3 weeks & will post new best(hopefully) times. Thanks for the help on the computer reset!! Later!
