squeaking coming from rearend

I have an '88 mustang 5.0 and lately there's been a squeaking coming from the rearend or at least it seems from there. It usaually happens when going around a corner a low speeds. What would cause this? It's very loud and embarrassing sometimes.
It's the stock rear and never had any work done to it.

Had the same problem long ago...Do you have stock or aftermarket control arms, if they have rubber bushings they still need to be greased. Home Depot, even WalMart will sell a small grease gun that will do the job. Let us know...

It sounds like a rotating squeaking, if you know what I mean. It's hard to explain what I mean by a "rotating squeak" but hopefully some of you know what I'm trying to explain.
It sounds like a squeaky wheel or something....like one of the axles are squeaking or something. It does it mostly around corners but it has done it going straight but aways at low speeds(10mph or less)

When's the last time you checked the drum brakes, they'll do that when they need adjusting.......

I got to thinking about this today. Aren't the rear drum brakes self-adjusting? They adjust themselfs when you're in reverse and the brakes are applied...or at least I was always told that....

Yes...supposed to be......key word, supposed to.....lol. Mine did the same thing, I just used it as an excuse to go rear disc. They could be adjusted all the way as well and need some new pads......

Slap some grease to the u-joints. See if that changes anything.

This sounds crazy, and it is. I would spray water in small areas untill the noise changes. I do that right before I go crazy trying to locate the voices coming from my rear?
