Are EGR spacers any good at all???
So they cool the air down. Should I get one just for fun or do you get one when you need it?

you get one when you need one, im not sure if the 94 intake has one built in, but it might need a new one to go with your 65mm throttle body, if its not built in your intake

tell me if I'm wrong, but isn't an EGR spacer the one that goes between t-body and upper-intake when you upgrade to a larger than stock throttle body?? (ie: doesn't really cool down the air?)
what I think you're talking about is a intake spacer (goes between upper and lower?) which cools down the charged air, by adding to the runner length.. a 3/8" I've read/heard is good for a the stock intake cause its got short runners to begin with... for stock, yes, get a 3/8" FMS one, I've heard an extra 5HP + upto 10 ft/lbs torque can be achieved.. You don't need a spacer with a cobra intake, its built in. Now that plenum spacer is good to have,I've got a 1/2" one on my car. I saw a guy drop some time with one but I can't remember how much, I want to say it was .1 in the quater. Its worth the money in my opinion.

thats right the cobra intake came with a built in egr spacer. engine coolant flows through the egr spacer and is suppose to cool things down. there should be 2 lines that go from the egr spacer to a rail that connects to the engine block.

Sorry I meant EFI heat spacers. You know, they look like gaskets..
