How to Hook with nitrous???

I finally have my car tuned to perfection (331 cid w/the edelbrock performer package and ported heads, 4.10 gears.....) anyway trying to launch on the nitrous is impossible!!! (125hp wet plate). I have subframe connectors welded in, and hotchkis lower control arms and the car hooked awesome on the just the engine before (4000 rpm launches on 26" et drags got me 1.8- 1.7" 60 fts). The juice hits from 3-6000rpm and when I let her go at 4000 now I get alot of spin. What should I do??? Shocks, springs, upper cntl arms.... There are so many choices and I don't have thousand to spend. I don't even attempt to race on my drag radials with the juice because my car goes sideways.

Make sure your trac loc is still working good is a good start. All my friends with similar set-ups ended up going to 28 inch tall slicks.

Maybe a better burnout? Springs, upper control arms, and some good drag shocks would help too. Honestly in my opinion, 1.7 60ft times are that awesome to begin with, I was launching at 6k only cutting 1.61's all motor.
I also tried a 150 dry kit that was WOT activated. Immediately after the launch (already hooked) the spray kicked in from me flooring it and I had no problems after that. I was running M/T drag radials at the time. Good luck.

Also might try a fogger system? Not too knowledgeable on those but I think they can regulate the amount at launch....

Go here and do some reading. Adjustable control arms, struts/shocks and springs are all things to consider. Do lots of research before you buy anything and you'll avoid spending money you don't need to.
