I'll be driving and it feels like my engine starts stumbling........... it starts up rough and when I give it gas it stops. It also makes this knocking sound when I take off really fast kinda like click click click.......also it acts like it hesitates when I take off fast...................WTF....If anyone thinks they have an idea what it is or has had some similar problems please post a reply.....

First it would probably be a good idea to post what year and engine size mustang you have. That will help out alot. Then, depending on the year, there are specific areas for each, 65-78, The Classic forum, 79-95, The Windsor, 96 and up The Modular Forum. Anyways, welcome to MustangWorks!

Re: Help!!!!! No one wants to help a girl?
The clicking sound sounds to me like it is pinging. There could be a number of things wrong. Most likely either a fuel or time problem. You should have the fuel filter changed. Next make sure your time is set to 10 deg. initial. 94 -95's are very touchy when it comes to timing. Also you should only be running 93 octane. The new ethenal in the gas is worse then the MTBE they were using before. If you have aftermaket heads and piston and the compression is up 10.0 or high you may have to run race fuel I have a 1995 Mustang Gt 10.85:1 compression and I have to run straight unleaded race fuel 109 octane at $9.50 a gallon. It sucks I only drive the car like once a month. I am now in the process of building a low compression 351W.
