I need help picking out suspension. please help
i want to replace my stock suspension on my daily sriver '90 GT. i want to keep the rear tires (245-50-16) planted as well as possible, because they spin an awful lot. i have a few mods such as air intake kit, 3.73 gears, and some other minor stuff. i heard that getting traction bars and adjustable uppers were a good combination but i have no idea. i am not looking to spend too much and i also would like to know a good set of sub- frame connectors? what should i get? as well as which brand? i really need your guys help on this.
thanks Adam [This message has been edited by avbcon12 (edited 08-08-2001).] |
I have heard that South Side Lift Bars are great. I even rode in a car with them and was very impressed. As for the sub frames go with Maximum Motorsport full length subs. Or any other full length for that matter.

go with full length subs and weld them in if possible. the track kit from kenny brown is a pretty good package but not so cost effective.upgraded lower and adjustable uppers help alot to add traction and stiffen up the rear. just put some on a convertible and wow is it stiff now. doesnt lay a hundred feet of rubber any more without the clutch.more like ten.
