351/ T-5 to 4R70W

Need a link to show whats involved in doing a T-5 to 4R70W swap in a 91 GT with a 351 windsor in it. Anybody?
Thanks,
Brad :)

Why a 4r70w? Why not a built AOD or a C4? The 4r70w can certainly be done but you'll need an aftermarket controller to control the tranny functions. Click Me

I saw a fox with a 4r70w and a 95 eec in the latest MM&FF. had a aod originally and after burning up 11 of them I swapped in a WC T-5. now want to go the car show route and the occasional straight line blast and a tuneable trans and eec wouldbe nice. with the 351, I'm leary of the aod. looked at the tweecer unit but that won't help with a weak trans ya know?

screw that tranny spend like 1500 and get a c4 and call it a day

I wouldn't put a C-4 in it if it was my only option. I plan on driving the car more than racing it and a C-4 would suck!!! No overdrive on the interstate at 75mph...I don't think cruising at 3500rpm is to good of an idea if I want to preserve my kids' hearing. Thanks anyway....

idk how much power u have but you can buil a aod to handle power and not blow up better bands ,improve the valve body. the 92 and up aod have the steel direct clutch drum not the cast and you can put like 8 frictions compaird to 5 or 6 in the older cast iron .there are endless ways to do this
