hi i'm new to fox bodies
 

hey guys, well first off i'm new here and to the fox body fords. i have a 1983 cougar that i am planning on doing a 5.8 swap into. right now it has a 3.8 v6. i have a buddy that is selling me a 5.8 from a bronco. from what he's been telling me is that i need the fox body 5.8 swap parts. is this correct? also would i be able to use the double sump pan that's already on it or am i going to have to get another pan?? also will i be able to use the motor mounts that are on the v6 on the 5.8? also i wanna put some shorty headers on and was wondering who makes the best shorty headers for my application?? and yes its a windsor. i'm new to ford cars, not the engines. i used to have a 79 ranchero that had a 351m that i turned into a 410.
