89 mustang 5.0 oil pump not building pressure
 
Just replaced the oil pump and the shaft going to the pump. The shaft was spun. Now it won't build oil pressure. Please give me suggestions.

well if you put the pump and drive in right and u have no pressure u have worn bearings..usally if thats the problem, there will be pressure when the engine is cold and whe it gets warm the pressure will drop

Are you trying manually or with the dist doing the work?
