Distributor Wont Rotate!!! HELP!!!
 
Hello everyone...I need serious help, I have an 87 GT, I replaced my upper & lower intake gaskets this weekend. I installed my distributor (marks lined up & all) hooked everything up and fired it up...well it ran but rough and it sounds like timing is off so I loosened the distributor nut but the distributor just will not rotate so I can adjust the timing. has anyone had this issue? PLEASE HELP ME

there hould be no issue unless there is a bad bushing in the dist, or there is some kind of debris..did it go in hard?

Might have had a little gasket sealant push out to the dist, your trying to move it while the engine is running right? instead of loosening the bolt, take it out to ensure the hold down isn't getting snagged on the dizzy. Good luck.
