holley 750 to much for 351 clev?

bought a 72 mach 1 with a 3310-8 750cfm holley carb already bolted on the 351 cleveland. motor is running quite rich and was going to get it tuned but have had suggestions it might be to much carb for motor. my carb knowledge is very limited and i'd rather not throw money into something thats a hopeless cause

carb sizing is all about what the engine is built for and the purpous of the car is.theres a few different 351 clev out there.if the car is just an around the town cruiser and not a street racer a 650 is prolly a better choice.you can get that 750 to run better with some tuning.but if your just a cruiser car and ur looking for it to just run good and clean and if you have to pay some one to tune the carb you just might be better off getting a 650 and it should be running good outta the box for ya
