wiring an amp meter
 

I recently installed a gt instrument panel in a '65 mustang in place of the standard panel. I cannot find any diagram to show me how to hook up the amp meter. The wiring harness in the car will not work so I need to run wiring. My question is where do the red and yellow wires need to be connected to make my amp gauge work properly?

Red and yellow wires makes that a '66 GT AMP Meter..

If I was in your shoes I would simply swap it for a volt meter for safety reasons. ;)
