24 lb injectors
Anyone want to comment on the benefits of moving up to 24lb injectors, or if I shouldn't do it. My motor is stock except for the cam timing has been advanced for towing and the rockers are roller with 1.7 ratio exaust and 1.6 intake.
Thanks Scott |
None really, unless you're making more than about 280 hp with a stock FPR or 438 cfm of airflow or there abouts if your using a mass air meter?

The September issue of 5.0 MUSTANG & SUPER FORDS has a pretty good artical on injectors called "Fuel Stream Ahead" on page 83
|
With a adjustable fuel pressure regulator the 19lb injectors are good up to 304hp.

Don't bother geting bigger injectors right now. There are many other first-step mods to do....start w/ gears and subframe connectors.
