Do I need to use pressure plate alignment dowels with clutch install?

Installing King Cobra clutch and I don't have any pressure plate alignment dowels. Is this a big deal? Can I just assemble without them? I'm not talking about a clutch alignment tool, so don't be confused at what I'm asking.
Thanks

I just did this last week, you need them.
They are available at Ford, cost about
1.29 for three. I have the same clutch!

I'm getting the King Cobra clutch next week and plan on installing it myself. Any thoughts or tips about the install?? How does the clutch feel??

Get your self a long ratchet extension for the upper left trans bolt. It is a bi*ch to get to. And what ever you do, KEEP COOL! The last thing you want to do is get pissed at something and ***** up the job. I had several obsticles i was about to loose it on. Just take your time and do it right the first time. And while it is out, go have your flywheel turned. The cobra is a deff improvement over standard HD. Light Em Up!! http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/smile.gif
