Hydraulic Jack Maintenance
Not Mustang specific question, but my floor jack seems to need maintenance. When I jack up my GT, it will only hold for a little while then slooowly start dropping. I bought jack oil but what do I do. Just add it or do I have to bleed the system like brakes?? Please help, I'm doing my front brakes tonight.

Orient your jack so that the fill hole is in the highest position and fill slowly so the air can bleed out. It sounds like you may need an o-ring or seal since the the jack is not holding position. If you don't see any moisture on the outside of the jack, the oil may be leaking back into the reservoir when it should be holding the piston in place. Finding and replacing the seal will likely solve your problem.
